Well where do I start?? I have known Al since 1978 when i joind the British Sub Aqua Club in Basildon. Al took me under his wing as a young teenager and assisted in my training as a scuba diver. It was through this friendship that he meet my sister Sue. From the moment that they meet they hit it off and eventually tied the knot and Al became not just a friend but a member of our family.

Al has two wonderful children Mark and Marcell who I know that he loved dearly. For those of you who knew Al he could be a cantankerous old sod at time but alway had your best intensions at heart. Al would alway be there when ever you needed him and down under he had a heart of gold.

I know for one that we will miss him he was truly one of a kind.

Rest in peace Al and give Sue a big cuddle from us you will be missed but never forgotten.
